I was chatting with my teacher about jobs: my difficulties, my hopes, my opportunities, my resignation. She helped me with an application and, when I told her that I wasn't called, she was surprised (more than me, actually).
At a certain moment, with a shining smile, she exclaimed: "Why don't you study to become an ESOL teacher? You could be a wonderful teacher for the lower levels!!!"
...me?

5th: Trust me, I am a doctor
My husband's colleague, after 4 days with antibiotic and no improvement, sent her Italian dermatologist a picture of her legs. He told her that the rush was the typical epidermal symptom related to a very particular bacterial sore throat. Actually she had an annoying sore throat the week before the rush.
Incredibly, the British doctor was right!
