Rome is the political capital of the Italian Republic, as everybody knows.
But Milano is the financial, cultural and ethical capital of the country (and the most beautiful city, you must trust me!).
And can we forget Venice, the Italian capital of the romantic getaway? Or Sorrento, the capital of the Britons' holidays in Italy...
You know, we are reach, thus Italy has other capitals: Napoli the capital of the ties, Valdobbiadene the capital of the Prosecco, Felino the capital of the salame and Parma the capital of the prosciutto.
Do you want more? Firenze, the well-known capital of the Renaissance and Noto the capital of the Barocco, Recco the capital of the focaccia and Rimini the capital of the summer, Busseto the capital of the opera and Sanremo the capital of the Italian pop music. Maranello the capital of the fast-cars (Ferrari) and Bologna the capital of the motorbikes (Ducati)
It is unfair for all the other capitals in Italy but it is impossible to mention every single city who deserves a place in this list.
Remember that, next time someone tells you: "Italy: pizza mafia and mandolino"
Just to remain faithful to general Italian chaos...
